Current Projects

The Kiryat Shemona Foundation is currently participating in the capital fundraising campaign to complete the building of 4 brand new dormitory buildings at the Yeshiva. Each building will house 52 students and be comprised of six 2-bedroom suites (housing 36 students), plus two 3-bedroom suites (housing 16 students).

We are undertaking a major renovation project to fortify our dormitories so that they can withstand rocket attacks.  With the help of different organizations and individuals, we have launched an ongoing fundraising campaign to build a new residential campus that will eventually include five buildings, each at a cost of approximately $1,000,000.  Each building will be able to house as many as 64 student-soldiers in comfort and security.  We are pleased that, at this point, we have completed Phase Two. Two buildings are now complete and occupied by the Hesder students, and named our first building, “The Los Angeles Dormitory,” in honor of our generous friends and partners in the Los Angeles community.
