The Lights Go Out…. But the Talmidim Keep Learning

Power outages happen… and when they happen during the night hours, everything stops in our modern world.

But not at the Yeshiva…  A blackout that affected the Yeshiva and the adjacent neighborhood didn’t faze our Hesderniks.  They ran out to the storeroom, gathered up all the available candles, lit them, and continued learning Torah by candlelight until after 11:oopm at night.

Nothing stops our young men from learning, and this typifies the high Torah standard they demand from themselves!
